In 2002, I undertook my first combined architectural and interior design project. The project had a very limited budget, high design expectations and was in Majorca, where neither the client nor myself had any contacts to the local building industry. I concluded that a well-coordinated team of professionals and a short supply chain are imperative to be able to meticulously adhere to my high-quality standards and complete my future commissions both punctually and within budget. So, while I filtered and found the best professional colleagues for my future projects (from the construction workers to the publicly appointed appraisers), I embarked on the trade industry.
